Awakening from Bonds and Friendships in Campsites

On this journey, my family and I met people from different countries and cultures during the time we spent at the campsites. The help, unconditional kindness and warm friendship of these people, whom we had never met, reminded me of the pure beauty of humanity. For a moment, I found myself disconnected from the fast-paced business world and in great peace and happiness with my family. I cannot forget the joyful moods, sharing attitudes and spirit of solidarity of the people I watched in those campsites.

It reminded me of the neighborly bonds of the 1980s and 1990s; people stepping away from their own work and responsibilities and helping each other with an open heart, very different from anything I have ever seen. Seeing such a community spirit and the need for a platform and connections – a platform that brings together producers, organizers, sellers, renters and end-users; that covers very important components such as camping and caravan rental, buying and selling, product suppliers, service and maintenance providers and event organizers – a platform where a person may need the service they want to get far away from home, but where they can find the most trusted options at the same time, led me to decide to launch Camperlogy, which is exactly the platform I was thinking about. My dream of a platform like Camperlogy was actually born from the shortcomings I felt in the camping and caravanning world. I realized that there was a need for a structure that brings together everyone from manufacturers, organizers, sellers, renters and end users, where they can easily access services without wasting time searching for their needs in unlikely places and trying to find them on social platforms with information pollution. Especially the sincerity and spirit of cooperation of the people I met in campsites strengthened my desire to bring this community together with a digital home it deserves. Camperlogy came to life to meet this need and carry this spirit of solidarity to a global platform.

The Birth of Camperlogy and Our Team

Camperlogy has emerged with the idea of creating a unique community in the world that acts as a holistic and umbrella in the camping and caravanning world. It has been a great pride and responsibility for me to realize this project with my experience of more than 15 years in the field of software and technology with my own companies, with the courage, knowledge and experience I have gained by investing in many software that serves in many countries in Europe and has achieved good success in its sector. However, this story is not just mine, it is the result of teamwork and joint labor.

Each individual who contributed to this project is not only a teammate, but also a fellow traveler who shares this dream. The contributions of our team members have strengthened the foundations of Camperlogy and made it possible for it to reach today.

• Armağan Özkaya: As the founder, investor and software architect of the project, I created the intellectual foundation of Camperlogy. I was actively involved in every step of the process, from the design of the algorithms to the creation of the software infrastructure. In addition, I took on a great responsibility to bring Camperlogy’s global vision to life by organizing external collaborations. To be honest, Camperlogy is not just a project for me, but one of the most meaningful journeys of my life. It is an indescribable passion for me to be actively involved in every step and every corner of this platform. I will continue to stand by Camperlogy and contribute to its growth until I bring it to this world.
• Utku Tarık Özkaya: Despite his young age, he made great contributions to the project with the discipline and expertise he gained from Ferdi Akhan, who stepped into the software world very early and was his master. With his dedication in software development and algorithm creation, he played a critical role in building Camperlogy’s technological infrastructure strongly. At the same time, as one of the founders and investors of Camperlogy, he contributed to the project with the experience he gained by stepping into the software world at a young age. By transferring his technical know-how, solution-oriented approach and superior discipline to the project, he was an important support to the success of the software team.
• Ferdi Akhan Ferdi Akhan played one of the most critical roles in building Camperlogy’s software infrastructure and algorithms. Thanks to his deep experience in the software world and mathematical expertise, he quickly recognized the challenges in the algorithms and found solutions. With his talent in analytical calculations and strategic approach, he played a key role in overcoming the technical challenges of the project. Not only as a software developer, but also as one of the founders and investors of the project, he excelled in team management. By guiding the software team in a professional manner, he provided both leadership and inspiration to the project. Camperlogy’s strong technological infrastructure today is possible thanks to his foresight and perseverance.
• Abdullah Koç He has been the backbone of the team in financial arrangements, strategic planning and organizational coordination. His work in the background to ensure smooth functioning has enabled Camperlogy to move forward in a strong manner. His decisive approach and dedication directly contributed to Camperlogy’s successful progress in the field. He also established strong communication ties with his teammates, enabling the smooth running of processes. With his expertise in financial strategic planning and his broad perspective, he played a critical role in the background of Camperlogy. With his dedication, he has been instrumental in building Camperlogy into a strong organization.
• Mehmet Akhan As one of the most senior managers of the fieldwork department, who has been involved since the establishment of Camperlogy, he has played a critical role in the successful progress of the processes. He successfully ensured the communication between our team and field staff and made it possible for the processes to proceed in harmony. He is known for running kilometers of kilometers without feeling tired, working day and night in filling the platform pool and collaborations.

Contributions of our Mobile App & Software Developers and Freelancer Teams

Our mobile developers, especially our lovely ladies İlayda and Melisa, have played an important role in the birth of Camperlogy with their outstanding efforts and success. These teams have worked meticulously to come up with creative solutions and have ensured that the platform has a strong infrastructure. Their roles, especially in the software process, have been important building blocks that have made Camperlogy’s success possible today. Their innovative approaches and problem-solving skills have played a vital role in making the platform user-friendly.

At the same time, our field representatives, Mr. Okan and then Mr. Mustafa, the team leader, believed in the project from the very beginning and have been with us on this journey. Their dedication and diligence during the fieldwork played a vital role in reaching a wide audience and promoting Camperlogy effectively. Their field experience and strong communication skills supported our goal to fill the platform pool by strengthening our partnerships with B2B businesses.

The efforts of this team, each an expert in their own field, in line with a common vision and passion, have led to the birth of Camperlogy as a unique platform. This success is the product not only of individual efforts but also of a strong team spirit.

Graphics and Video Team

Graphic and video works are of great importance in Camperlogy’s promotional materials. This department is led by our team manager Mr. Tarık. Mr. Tarık plays a key role in the team’s success with his creative vision and attention to detail. Social media content, video productions and graphic designs are shaped under his guidance. Under Mr. Tarik’s leadership, the team ensures Camperlogy is strongly represented in the digital world. Every design and video that reflects Camperlogy’s values is the result of this dedicated work.

Influencer Collaborations and Social Media Power

We have made serious and long-term collaborations with well-known influencers, well-known social media names and industry professionals. While we have made short-term advertising works with some influencers in order to be recognized, we have established a family bond with some of them beyond collaboration. Especially our sister Oya and her husband Fuat, this sweet couple known as ‘fuatoyasakin06’ on social media, have made great contributions to increasing the awareness of Camperlogy. Their sincerity and natural communication style led them to be seen as the advertising face of Camperlogy and helped us carry the spirit of our community to a wider audience.

Investments and Future Goals

We have spent millions of TL in effort and resources to realize this project. We have progressed with great devotion in many areas from fair organizations to field work. We had the opportunity to introduce Camperlogy to a wider audience by participating in various fairs such as Istanbul Caravan Tüyap Fair, Eskişehir Camping and Nature Caravanners Fair, Pendik Yacht and Caravan Fair, Yenikapı Fair, Adana and Istanbul CNR Bifas Fair, Samsun Fair, Mersin Fair as both exhibitors and visitors. In all these processes, the incredible effort and dedication of our team was decisive in laying the strong foundations that this platform has today.
